An immersive videomapping piece created specifically for the Central Courtyard of Condeduque by the artist José Vaaliña for this Christmas programme. Through projections onto the courtyard façades, the audience experiences an emotional journey exploring the different meanings of one of the most profound and universal symbols of Christmas: light.

Its birth, the lights that illuminate homes across the city during the festive season, the inner light that guides and connects us, the light of nature, and, finally, the overwhelming light of the stars and the sky.

The work of José Vaaliña and Eyesberg inhabits the border between visual art, technology and shared emotion. Their artistic language transforms architecture into storytelling and light into poetic material. Through this vision, A Christmas of Light turns Condeduque’s Central Courtyard into an enveloping environment where image, sound and structure merge into a collective sensory experience.

With a notable trajectory in festivals such as LuzMadrid, Llum BCN or Sónar, Eyesberg is one of the most innovative multimedia art studios in Spain, specialising in immersive works that dialogue with space and with the audience.

As the grand finale of this experience, on the night of 23 December a unique moment awaits: this immersive spectacle of light and colour will be joined by the beauty and emotion of Christmas music.
A one-of-a-kind concert — in three sessions at 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00 — performed by the Madrid Male Voice Choir together with soprano Sonia de Munck, presenting traditional carols arranged by Conrad Susa.
