Pepe Marchena’s Christmas is a show featuring Christmas carols selected exclusively from the slate recordings made by El Niño de Marchena and lent for the occasion by the flamencologist Manuel Martín Martín from his private record collection. This is the continuation of the highly successful Remembering Marchena show with which Sandra Carrasco, one of the most versatile voices on the flamenco scene, and David de Arahal, a talented, up-and-coming guitarist, have toured all over Spain. This artistic couple will be accompanied by the dancer Carmen Talegona and Los Mellis on backing vocals, hand clapping and percussion.
