Decir la poesía: un taller poético

Activity provided for users of municipal resources for the elderly, in collaboration with the Directorate-General for the Elderly and Prevention of Unwanted Loneliness of the Department of Social Policies, Family and Equality.

On 23 December, this activity will be repeated for the general public in the Nave 17 Conference Room.

Poetry lends its weight to our Christmas tribute to our elders, who give the gift of their care, wisdom and generosity to the new generations. Because poetry is also a way of embracing and caring, this workshop for adults invites participants to put the poetic word into practice: to remember, recite and share in a group the poems that have left their mark on us. Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Mary Oliver and other great American poets will be the protagonists of an activity in which we will experience the expressiveness, the memory and sense of community that poetry offers.
