La Grande Chapelle, a prestigious vocal and instrumental ensemble specializing in Golden Age music and directed by Albert Recasens, offers a musical journey to the 17th century, a period of splendor for the arts in Spain. This concert brings together Christmas works by the leading composers of the Court—Carlos Patiño, Juan Hidalgo, Cristóbal Galán, Sebastián Durón, and Tomás de Torrejón y Velasco—in a program that combines devotion, exaltation, and emotion to celebrate the birth of the Christ Child.
